Grieved in the Spirit

I recently ran across the term which caused me to react the same way that I might had it been a water balloon coming through my computer screen and bursting in my face. It really grabbed my attention. I made a mental note to “study” it. I never got around to it.

Again this morning, the term came to my attention. Another water balloon event.  (More)

What if God required that we all be placarded - placarded with a digital screen on our forehead - a screen that HE controlled and changed according to the way HE sees us living here on earth.

What would our placard say?  (More)

I attempted to share with Stay At Home Mom a message of encouragement, but it appears the comment feature is not enabled.

If you read this and decide to enable the feature, leave a comment here.

I, too, am a stay at home mom.  I was transplanted six years ago from a career to stay at home mom.

The Gift of Grace

I have prayed. I have looked up various Scriptures. I have visited with the Lord asking that He reveal to me what He wishes FOR ME to know about His gift of grace. It seemed to be that my head and my heart were both empty until just a moment ago when a flood of understanding washed over me. Some of these I have experienced. Others I have not. The words here are those the Lord gave TO ME granting answer to my prayer for a better understanding of grace.  (More)

As I read and composed my comment to SALVATION, as I read the other comments to that same message, as I composed my previous message (I had a lovely Bible Study this morning), and as I read (my) DEFINITION OF SALVATION the word GRACE began to press upon my heart.

This morning, I read Salvation part two. and the word GRACE presses even more persistently. (More)

It has been my intention to increase my Bible study time.  A fellow blogger prompted me to do just that - THANKS!

There were not many present for my Bible Study - just me and God.  I opened my heart to the words of Romans; Chapter 10.  (More)

We've all heard the phrase, "A picture is worth a thousand words."  As I walked out upon my porch to view my flower garden, I ran to get my camera because I immediately thought of my friend who was mentioned in A Friend's Request.

My Mind is TOO Full

Don’t be surprised if that comes through my writing as well.

During one of my first massage therapy sessions, the therapist was doing her thing on my scalp and said, “Your mind is too full!” The surprise in her voice made me laugh out loud. I think perhaps those in the waiting area may have heard me - that is how hard and how loud I laughed. She was/is right. My mind is TOO full.

What is my mind filled with? Today, I ponder that question as I sit here. At this very moment, my thoughts are focused on this very blog site and those of us who are bloggers here.

I received a phone call last evening from a dear friend who was in tears and asking that I pray - for miracles - in the multitude of challenges that she is facing.   (More)
